Maxwel America Inc. – Limited Warranty & Return Policy
- Corporate Independence
Maxwel America Inc. is a legally registered corporation in the United States. It operates independently as the exclusive marketing and distribution entity for Maxwel Aircon India Pvt Ltd. All commercial transactions, customer interactions, warranties, and obligations in the United States are solely managed and fulfilled by Maxwel America Inc.
- Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Maxwel America Inc., its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and the parent company Maxwel Aircon India Pvt Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, arising out of or in connection with the use or performance of any product.
Note: This does not limit liability for personal injury, death, or damages caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct where prohibited by law.
- Limited Warranty
All Maxwel safes include a limited one (1) year warranty covering manufacturing defects in electronic components only.
This warranty does not cover:
– Misuse, abuse, or neglect
– Unauthorized repair, tampering, or alterations
– Accidents, dents, scratches, or shipping damage
– Water damage, exposure to chemicals (e.g. phenyl, bleach, detergents)
– Acts of nature, fire, theft, gas leaks, overfilling
– Batteries (including leaking, expired, or used batteries)
– Normal wear and tear or cosmetic changes
Use only as instructed. Improper operation, overfilling, or exposure to corrosive materials voids the warranty.
- Warranty Service Procedure
Warranty service is available within the United States only, through Maxwel America Inc.’s authorized service providers. All claims must be initiated within the warranty period and include proof of purchase.
Customers are responsible for securely packaging and shipping the item to the authorized service center and for the return shipping. The warranty covers only the cost of repair or part replacement at Maxwel’s discretion.
No employee or service agent is authorized to extend warranty coverage beyond the stated terms.
- Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. All legal proceedings or claims arising out of or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in that state.
- Disclaimer of Implied Warranties
Except as expressly stated herein, Maxwel America Inc. disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Product images are for illustrative purposes only. Specifications may change without prior notice.
- Indemnification
By purchasing or using Maxwel products, the customer agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Maxwel America Inc., Maxwel Aircon India Pvt Ltd, and their affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising from:
– Breach of these terms
– Improper use or installation
– Violation of local laws or regulations
- Return & Refund Policy
We accept returns within 14 calendar days of delivery for unused, unopened products in their original packaging. Customers must contact support for return authorization.
– Return shipping is at the customer’s expense. Maxwel America Inc. will not reimburse any shipping or handling charges under warranty or return scenarios unless the product is deemed defective upon inspection.
– Refunds will be issued within 14 business days after inspection.
Amazon buyers must follow Amazon’s return process within their 30-day window.
